Senior Creative Designer (3D & Motion, Pharma)

Location: United States

Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Creative Designer with advanced skills in motion graphics, 3D design, and social-first video editing to support our growing pharmaceutical portfolio. This role is ideal for a designer who blends craft expertise with strategic thinking — someone who can bring medical and scientific stories to life through emotionally resonant, visually impactful content.

You’ll be working across unbranded and branded campaigns, translating clinical data, disease education, and patient insights into scroll-stopping social assets that meet both creative and regulatory standards. You should feel confident working within platform constraints, applying channel-specific best practices, and pushing the work forward through smart design thinking and executional polish.

Social Content Editor (Pharma)

Location: United States

What we're looking for

This hybrid role blends content expertise with proactive account support. Ideal for a copywriter ready to expand into content strategy and social media operations, the position centers on editorial leadership while staying grounded in high-quality, brand-aligned execution. It’s not just about writing—it’s about shaping how content supports business objectives, integrates into broader campaigns, and meets client needs.

Senior Social Producer

Location: Los Angeles

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Social Producer who loves film and TV. Someone who has experience working with the Hollywood studios, who has produced large scale film and entertainment campaigns and has a working knowledge of managing a team of designers and editors to produce content for social media.

This is a client-facing role across multiple international markets and you will primarily manage the delivery of social creative content for key Entertainment clients such as The Walt Disney Company, Paramount+ and Paramount Pictures International. Working in collaboration with the UK Social Media Team, you will be helping manage and motivate our creative studio of designers, motion designers and editors to produce high quality and engaging social creative and video content. To continually develop and enhance the quality of our work, our ethos is fuelled by a drive to succeed and desire to improve. Working across high value pre-release theatrical film TV and streaming content, you will need to work within the constraints of high content security standards, which does place an emphasis on working from our office on a fairly regular basis. Ideally you will live within a reasonable commuting distance from the office in Calabasas.

Our recruitment process

We want to keep things simple and we have a 3 stage interview process

Once you apply for a role at Substance, we’ll review your details and if they match what we are looking for, we aim to contact you within a week. Unfortunately, as we are a small team, we are unable to reply and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates at this stage

Once you are selected, you will have an initial call with either our HR team or the hiring manager to drill down on your skills and experience

We are an inclusive team, so please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments to support you through the interview process.

If successful, you will have another call with other team members where we will also assess your situational behaviours. For some roles, the second stage would involve working on a specific task

The last stage will involve a call or a meeting in the office with the extended hiring team and, depending on the role, with the management team. If you were assigned a task in the previous stage, you will be able to present this back to the team.

If successful, you will receive our offer at this stage.

We will also contact all unsuccessful candidates involved in the different stages and provide some relevant feedback.

Don’t meet every single requirement?
