To build hype for Disney’s live-action classic story reboots, we were lucky to have access to a rich catalogue of familiar Disney touch points to draw on.
We created a suite of promotional content. This showcased a series of beloved franchise moments to remind audiences of what they first fell in love with all those years ago, and create anticipation for a new generation of Disney fans.
To supplement the creative approach for the reboot of the Lion King franchise, we designed a suite of innovative formats to promote the digital release of The Lion King (2019).
Audience excitement levels soared thanks to our ‘Tap to Roar’ Instagram Story which invited viewers to interact with a series of animated video memes. Targeted at parents of young children, the story was accompanied by a map which showed the journey Simba takes in the coming of age tale.
Marking the Dumbo home entertainment release, we collaborated with Disney on a package of international creative giving the audience the opportunity to keep ‘the flying elephant with you’ everywhere they go. This was enabled thanks to the ‘Download and Keep’ Prime video feature, which meant consumers could relive their cute friend’s adventures wherever they went, on any device.
Our work focused on a series of videos, including, kinetic typography, integrated reviews, original hand drawn illustrations and an animated album for babies.
For the direct media download and home entertainment releases of Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin, we delivered a complement of social assets, building excitement for the live action retelling of this classic story.
These included a hand-drawn and illustrated motion poster, lyric videos and kinetic pieces emphasising the colours and music of the film’s wild world.
To build a sense of anticipation for the 2020 release of Mulan, we developed a toolkit of custom creative alongside Disney that could be used internationally to engage audiences over the world.
Being a Chinese set film, the story had a global appeal we could tap into. The campaign ran over the summer of 2019 to spread awareness and excitement, before the film’s slated release.

We created retro feel assets featuring the film’s songs and key moments prompting audiences to get excited for a modern day Mary Poppins.
Working on one of the biggest films of all time, we shined a light on the most iconic moments within the film. Hulk’s distinctive new look, the witty script and zippy dialogue and the Avengers entertaining team dynamics and banter.
Using these elements we launched a super series of social resources to drive audience demand for the direct media download release of the film.
