Our goal was to create playful, high-stakes branded content for the global premiere of Lilo & Stitch - a hybrid of character-driven storytelling and live red-carpet coverage. The idea: Stitch attends his own premiere in chaotic, Stitch-style glory.
Shot live on Hollywood Boulevard, the piece combined point-of-view and third-person footage with CGI alphas from our studio partner. Working against a 24-hour turnaround, we storyboarded every beat, choreographed camera movement, and mapped exact positions to seamlessly integrate Stitch into the event.
Custom voice lines gave him the mischief and energy audiences expect, while our team captured precise angles and interactions to sell the illusion. The result: a joyful video told from Stitch’s POV. Celebrity encounters, starstruck moments, and playful poses that made fans believe he was really there.
This project showcases innovative execution under pressure: blending CGI and live production to deliver a technically flawless, emotionally resonant, and delightfully unexpected premiere moment.
