Amgen Europe

With continued success with Amgen Oncology, Substance now also works with Amgen across the globe, including the region of “Amgen Europe”. We help Amgen Europe stand out as an organisation that brings together science and people. 

As with Amgen Oncology we provided a social audit of Amgen’s European markets in order to overhaul their social media channels and content strategy.

We developed creative content mainstays and an overall content strategy based upon our learnings for their social media channels, including, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. 

The second phase of the project centred around the development of regional social creative campaigns, alongside the Amgen Europe regional team. Supporting each of the campaigns was social copy and creative for their six regional priorities, including the headline events Virtual ESMO, Women’s Health Month, Lung Cancer Awareness Month and National STEM day.

More recently we have worked on We Are Amgen, Amgen History and International Women’s Day. We continue to guide and create work for Amgen that demonstrates how they are revolutionizing science.

Campaign Objective

To celebrate the women of Amgen during International Women’s Day. 

What we did:  We created a bold, vibrant, empowering campaign showcasing key women of Amgen. It focused on women within manufacturing and Research and Development across the globe to demonstrate their key roles within the business.

We did this by creating a series of ‘day in the life’ animation videos; plus empowering cards and inspirational quotes. These social assets were shared across corporate and personal channels.

International Women's Day - A Day In The Life

More Work

Following our success with Amgen Oncology, we started working with the “Amgen ICON” regions to grow their Twitter following, increasing their reach and brand awareness among key audience profiles. Amgen ICON refers to 9 countries: Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Turkey.
